PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Removing obstacles: Provided straightforward solution that solved the problem within budget. An established dental practice contacted me with the following presenting problem: Computer issues limited capacity to treat patients and created downtime that resulted in loss of business. The source of the problem was an inventory of aging PCs and the challenge was to find the right solution that could be implemented on a limited budget. I developed and executed a replacement plan that accommodated the improvement of the business while staying in budget.

International business growth: Secured #1 ranking for revenue management and business acumen training company. I was a member of an international training consultancy team that was the sole outsourced training provider for Marriott International. I helped develop, test, and implement simulation technology in twenty-plus countries. Within a year, our simulation technology became the number-one training program in the hospitality industry. Subsequently, Hyatt sought and implemented our training solution across ten countries in the second year.

Business growth: Gave them what they wanted so I could provide them what they needed; Created affordable solutions. A fitness studio owner was frustrated with the time and focused attention he expended to manage his website. I assessed his current website, addressed his immediate needs, proposed and implemented a solution to address the website limitations. The new site aligned with the company’s image, continued to serve existing clients while attracting new clients, furthering the growth of the business and reducing maintenance costs.

Business expansion: Identified and implemented strategy to break into a new market. A construction company decided to rebrand their business to broaden their offerings to include higher-paying jobs. I assessed his goals, target clientele, and limitations, developed a multimedia marketing strategy, sourced contractors, and implemented Internet and print solutions. The new brand was a success, met the owner’s goal, and resulted in expansion of the business to meet the demand.

Saved money: Reduced expenses such that my services were covered by the savings. An attorney in need of a full-service IT department retained me. I uncovered unnecessary expenditures and immediately reduced expenses $3000 annually, exceeding coverage of the costs of all my services. I raised his level of case presentation by implementing multimedia technology. He more effectively argued for his clients, increasing the size of his client base and their awards, and increased his revenue.
